The suspension plays a huge role in making your BMW the ultimate driving machine; it is designed and built to provide comfort, performance and safety through a variety of road conditions and surfaces. In order to get the most out of your BMW in performance and safety, it is important to get your suspension serviced.
Just driving around the Boston area, you know the road conditions aren’t the best, especially after the rough and cold winter we had this year; with the amount of pot holes, cracks in the roads, and stop and go traffic, your suspension is really taking a lot of strain!
To counteract these environmental obstacles, we use original BMW parts for bushings, control arms, springs, struts, and shocks; all of these parts together will provide you the handling, grip, and ride comfort you’re used to seeing with your BMW.

Breaks are probably one of the most important part of your car; without proper brakes, you put yourself and others in danger. Here at Boston Motor Werks, we will inspect and repair brakes on BMWs; we have worked and repaired on BMW models from the early 1980s all the way to the 2014 models.
We only use BMW parts, pads and rotors on all break repair services; there is simply no other part, that compares to the reliability, bite, noise suppression, and performance of original BMW pads and rotors.
The rotors we use are made from high quality steel and alloy, and resist brake warping, scoring, and rust. Generic or aftermarket products don’t last as long, they are poorer quality, and they will actually cost you more money in the long run because you’ll have to repair them more frequently!
For more information on our brake repairs and the products we use, please call Boston Motor Werks at 617-489-0291.
Brought my M3 in for the Inspection 2, which was reasonably priced relative to other places I received quotes from. They completed the inspection as well as checked for other problems. Instead of forcing the extra repairs onto me, Rob explained each problem and recommended whether I should get it done or could wait until next servicing. I received an e-mail estimate and let them know which repairs to complete, and I am thankful for their help. Since the inspection can take some time, I needed a loaner and I received one no problem or cost once it was available. Friendly staff that knows what they are doing and that I will definitely use for further service.

Having your car looked at by a professional is essential to maintaining a reliable vehicle. When you avoid taking your car for a tune up, you are investing in bigger repair bills down the road. When you’re a car owner, you want to think about your cars strength in the long run, not the short run!
So many issues on cars today can be avoided with proper maintenance techniques! No matter how much technology in the car industry has advanced over the years, nothing is better for your car than the standard “old school” maintenance program!
When your car reaches 5,000 miles, we recommend a synthetic oil change; if you wait too long after 5000 miles, you risk damage to your car! Some dealers recommend changing your oil after the 15,000 mile mark; if you do this you’re leaving your car opened to engine wear and damage.
If you have a BMW and you feel that you have fallen behind on maintenance techniques, do not fret, Boston Motor Werks is here to save the day! We will be sure to run all the important inspections and maintenance techniques on your BMW! Give us a call today at 617-489-0291, to schedule an appointment!
